ABOUT US

 

Joe and Sami have been married for 21 years and have 8 amazing children ages 11-21, 2 awesome sons-in-law & a precious granddaughter.  Sami grew up in a Christian home while Joe found Jesus in a bar at the age of 20. Their lives collided and have both been radically changed by their relationship with Christ. The Rigelskys are passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God unified and in action & they are grateful for the opportunities they have been given to see first-hand & partner with God in what He is doing in and through His people all around the world. 

Upstream Life was birthed out of Joe & Sami's desire to take what they have learned living a life on mission and use it to equip, educate, inspire and challenge others to live life wholly on purpose. Their full-time mission, Upstream International, is a ministry based in Haiti that exists to empower and equip local leaders and by default, do more together to impact lives in the communities they serve. Upstream Life is also a tool to fuel and fund what God is doing through the Upstream Family in Haiti. You can learn all about Upstream International HERE.
